Crateres

Crateres is an alternative music platform where artists launch their latest sound. Created in 2007, the blog also publishes about art, design and fashion.

I was challenged to reflect the many cultural areas that the platform talks about. Crateres means craters, and with that in mind, I designed a sophisticated responsive line-based logo that represent the abstraction of a crater and that borrowed from visualizations of topographic maps.

By pushing the multifaceted nature of the platform and the crater-like logo I had designed; I programmed an audio-responsive logo that not only reacted to the beat of a song but to the platforms aspirations.

I selected a few of the audio-responsive outcomes, and I created a liquid identity to give dynamism to the logo and identity.
